During the 2nd ODI of the Netherlands v Ireland series at our grounds, the cooperation for Sportcampus Traiectum officially started. Sportcampus Traiectum is a collaboration between five top sports clubs in Utrecht-East (SV Kampong, Hellas Utrecht, VV Utrecht Volleyball, water polo club UZSC and the professional football club FC Utrecht) with the aim to provide talent in recreational sports the opportunity to develop and perform to the best of their ability.
The collaboration builds bridges to create the ideal conditions for talent, such as the best coaches, facilities, new sponsor propositions, housing nearby and the best programs. The joint mission is to share everything we learn and develop with the city: Sportcampus Traiectum is all about making inclusive top sport taccessible to everyone.
The five clubs have already started to develop the area around Stadion Galgenwaard and Maarschalkerweerd together with the municipality into a sports and recreational area where top and recreational sports, talent development and independent athletes inspire each other.
