The Dutch U19 Lionesses will play Scotland in three T20 matches on the 9th, 10th and 11th of August at Kampong. The winner of this series qualifies for the first ever U19 T20 World Cup for girls. The World Cup will take place in South Africa in January of 2023.

During the qualifying matches the KNCB is organizing a coaching course for women on the 10th of August and a girls cricket festival on the 11th. Both at Kampong!

Female only Coaching Course Level 1

The KNCB is organizing a female only level 1 Cricket Coaching Course on the 10th of August from 16h00 tot 19h00. This course is for all girls and women over 16 who want to learn more about cricket coaching. Players, mothers, sisters, umpires, aunts, all welcome. The course is free of charge and will be given by Shane Deitz.

Girls Cricket Festival

On the 11th of August, the final day of the qualifiers, from 13h00 to 15h00 the KNCB organizes a special activity for girls from 5 to 17 years old. Cricketers and non cricketers welcome. On the second field challenges, matches, games and clinics will be organized. These activities will be supervised by KNCB coaches and female Dutch players.
