Beste cricketers,
We bevinden ons in een opmerkelijke en soms bizarre situatie. Graag breng ik u op de hoogte van de gevolgen van het coronavirus op ons cricketseizoen:
- Alle activiteiten afgelast, in elk geval tot 6 april
Zoals eerder gemeld zijn alle activiteiten tot 6 april afgelast. Wat er daarna doorgang kan vinden, wordt op dat moment pas bekend. - KNCB-besluiten
De wedstrijdschema’s liggen klaar. Mocht het seizoen worden ingekort, wil de KNCB zoveel mogelijk teams zoveel mogelijk cricket laten spelen. Wel is besloten voor seizoen 2020 in geen enkele klasse een promotie-/degradatieregeling te hanteren. - Geen internationale coach/speler
Er was een Australische coach gecontracteerd, Steven McGiffin. Gezien de grote onzekerheid of hij Nederland in april wel kan bereiken, hebben we gezamenlijk besloten zijn komst niet door te zetten. Het bestuur en de technische commissie werken nu aan een oplossing om jullie als leden wel de juiste trainingen en faciliteiten aan te bieden. - Upgrade kooien
De upgrade van de kooien was al in gang gezet en kan gelukkig volgens plan worden afgerond.

Dear cricketers,
Our current situation is surely remarkable and sometimes bizarre. I would like to inform you about the consequences of the corona virus on our cricket season:
- All activities cancelled, at least until April 6
As previously reported, all activities have been cancelled until April 6. By then we will know what happens after that. - KNCB decisions
The match schedules are ready. Should the season be abbreviated, the KNCB wants as many teams as possible to play cricket as much as possible. However, it has been decided that no promotion / relegation will occur in any class for the 2020 season. - No international coach / player
An Australian coach was contracted, Steven McGiffin. Given the great uncertainty whether he will be able to reach the Netherlands at all in April, we have jointly decided to discontinue. The board and the technical committee are now working on a solution to offer all members the right training and facilities. - Upgrade nets
The upgrade of the nets was already initiated and can be completed according to plan.
